Main Missions :

• Install base IBM Power hardware with suppliers and manage the assets, in terms of machines and components (FC cards, Ethernet, RAM, CPU …)
• Install and administer various OS (Aix, LINUX, OS400)
• Install and configure software (compilers, CICS, Power HA …)
• Back up the various installed systems
• Define and manage subsystems (mailing, printing, FTP, f etc.)
• Manage and optimize system resources (CPU, RAM, disk space)
• Ensure the availability of Lpars (servers)
• Help optimize performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
• Define technical architectures

Technical skills :

• Expertise in AIX/Unix/Linux RedHat systems administration 
• Power virtualization expertise - VM, VIOS, NPIV, 
• Switch SAN Brocade administration expertise 
• IBM Power Administration Expertise
• Inter-technology data migration expertise 
• Expertise Scripting Shell, C, Python, Perl 
• Establishment and implementation of BCP (business continuity plans) 
• Implementation of permanent monitoring plans 
• Establishment of policies and strategies for the evolution of technical infrastructure safeguards. 
• Pre and post production benchmarks 
• Incident resolution and Level III support 
• Technical infrastructure project management
• Excellent customer and interpersonal skills. Must be a flexible, organized, thoughtful and proactive team player who can work with minimal coaching and demonstrate strong inter-organizational team skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to an ever-changing, growing and evolving environment.

Profile :

BAC + 5 in Computer Science (Engineering School) with 3 years of minimum experience in a similar function.
