BANK OF AFRICA has once again distinguished itself by becoming the first Bank in Morocco to obtain the SafeGuard label of excellence by the Bureau Veritas Group.
This certification illustrates the Bank's commitment to the preservation of the health and safety of employees and customers in regards to the Covid-19 health crisis, and reaffirms the Group's international societal commitments as well as reassuring its stakeholders in the effectiveness of its business continuity plan, in accordance with global health standards.
During the week of 9th November, the audits were successfully carried out at the head offices and eight regional directorates, jointly managed, within the framework of the OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 integrated management approach, by the Governance & Development Division Group, the Human Capital Group and the Logistics Division Group. The labeling mission focused on four specific COVID prevention principles: (i) medical precautions, (ii) application of safety precautions, (iii) adaptation and disinfection of work spaces and transportation, and (iv) work organization.
